This pair of bewitching Skitsch 2D LED Lamps will have your guests doing a double-take, certain at first they might have witnessed a set of illustrated fixtures. Ding3000 was inspired to develop these unusual illuminating objects in examining sketches of a standard light and lampshade's form. Using a slender [aluminum and rubber frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design), the black outline aesthetic was achieved to render the [floor lamp and table lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takeout-lamp) as if they were completely flat. To make the Skitsch 2D LED Lamps functional, a [row of LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20) was lined around the shade, and an animated quality was incorporated through the malleability of the frame. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **2D LED Lamps:** The trend of 2D LED lamps offers a playful and unique lighting option for interior design. - **Illustrated Fixtures:** The trend of illustrated fixtures brings a whimsical and artistic element to home decor. - **Flat Lighting Design:** The trend of flat lighting design challenges traditional notions of three-dimensionality in lighting aesthetics. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can explore opportunities in incorporating playful and artistic elements into their products. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can embrace the trend of 2D LED lamps to offer unique and visually captivating lighting options for clients. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can tap into the trend of illustrated fixtures to provide consumers with whimsical and unconventional lighting choices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Aesthetic Light Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-light.md) - [Illusory Multidimensional Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-light.md) - [Chic Saucer-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-in-tight-light-fixture.md) - [Sculptural Geometry Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Space-Saving Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-desk-lamp.md) - [Artistic Ribbon-Like Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-fellas-ceiling-light.md)
