The 1999 Air Tuned Max reference also goes back to the British-Nigerian rapper's childhood, since it was the first shoe he saved up money for. Drawing inspiration from Essaouira, a Moroccan city known for its colorful surroundings, the Skepta x Nike AIR MAX 97 SK shoe features a brighter color scheme than the grayscale original. “Everything I wanted to feel about peace, I found it there.
