Deligdisch's art portfolio is mostly made up of [elaborate illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/devin-wilde), and this decorative animal skull collection combines those intricate designs with unusual canvases that easily attract attention. Deligdisch turns death and decay into something beautiful with his skeleton art. Many of these pieces have twisted antlers attached to them which makes them seem all the more enchanting. Some of the animals who's skulls went into this eerily intriguing art project include red foxes, white tail deer and bison. These illustration-covered skulls command attention even more so than [standard taxidermy creations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog). Though these decorated skulls might seem a little morbid, they give departed animals a second life as works of art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Animal Skull Art:** Discover the emerging trend of using animal skulls as canvases for intricate illustrations, creating unique and attention-grabbing art pieces. - **Twisted Antler Decor:** Explore the trend of incorporating twisted antlers into decorative art pieces, adding an enchanting and mysterious touch to the overall design. - **Morbid Artistry:** Uncover the trend of transforming death and decay into stunning works of art, providing a new perspective on using unconventional materials. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can embrace the use of animal skulls and twisted antlers as innovative mediums, offering new avenues for creativity and self-expression. - **Taxidermy:** The taxidermy industry can adopt the trend of decorative skull art, providing a fresh approach to preserving and showcasing animal remains in a visually captivating manner. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can tap into the market of morbid artistry, offering consumers unique and eclectic decorative pieces that challenge traditional perceptions of beauty and decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bone Powder-Made Home Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/souhaib-ghanmi.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md) - [Artistic Animalistic Tequilas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dobel-atelier-animales-endmicos.md) - [Primal-Themed Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-return.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Ethereal Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peter-kovacsy.md)
