The Hawaii-based IndiePopShop on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-helper-tower) provides instructions on how to make an adorable kid's skateboard picnic table and if you're up for the challenge, it's assembly is described as "more difficult than [IKEA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hypercustomizable-desk), easier than custom cabinet building."

As well as four recycled skateboards, the craft requires some 2x4 wood and a few basic tools to put it all together. With the skate decks forming the tabletop surface and the seats, it's a small table that's best suited for kids under the age of five. Naturally, skate decks are designed to get a little beat up, so the table should be able to withstand whatever kids put it through too.

IndiePopShop supplies PDF instructions for $17, but if you find this project a little daunting, there's also the option to purchase a pre-made version.
