The [limited edition skate sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistdesigned-ski) are sold in packs of three and like a triptych, the set of three skateboard panels could easily be hung on the wall and displayed. The skateboards come boxed in sets of three, with each skateboard serving as a piece of the whole, recreating iconic medieval artworks like The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry and Hieronymus Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights painting on skateboards. The three-piece skate sets are available for about $440 each and unlike the original versions of these medieval artworks, these Boom Art skateboards are really the kind of art pieces that you can actually touch, take outside and really enjoy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Skateboard Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring new ways to combine art and functionality through skateboard designs. - **Limited Edition Collectibles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating exclusive and valuable art pieces that appeal to collectors and enthusiasts. - **Reviving Medieval Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Modernizing historical artworks by incorporating them into contemporary products like skateboards. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art Market:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Targeting art collectors and enthusiasts with unique and unconventional art pieces. - **Skateboarding Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with artists and designers to introduce artistic and limited edition skateboards. - **Merchandise and Collectibles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating a market for high-quality, limited edition art collectibles that bridge the gap between art and lifestyle. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Iconic Pop Art Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skateroom-x-andy-warhol-foundation.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md) - [Artful Skateboard Deck Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kraftwerk-collection.md) - [Redefined Sculptural Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/another-kingdom.md) - [Skateboard-Inspired Stamp Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skateboard-inspired-stamp-collection.md) - [Luxe Fashion House Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fendi-skateboard.md) - [Skateboard Design Museum Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skateboard-exhibition.md) - [Chess-Themed Art Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/checkmate-collection.md) - [Co-Branded Furniture Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eames-office-x-globe-boards-collection.md)
