The Kobe, [Japan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-cup), brand hired Yuko Nagayama & Associates to give them a fresh new workspace that would draw together a productive environment for the staff as well as a showroom for customers. An obvious element that supplements the contemporary interior is the [integration of vegetation throughout](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo). Flower beds have been placed around the open-concept rooms to feature small trees, shrubs and rocky arrangements. Bordering these indoor landscapes in the SISII office are [large iron sheets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-in-hashima) that have been elevated and creatively assembled to shape lengthy desks and even floor planes, laid out like paths through a garden. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Green Living Spaces:** Opportunity for incorporating vegetation and natural elements into interior design to create productive and refreshing work environments. - **Multi-functional Workspaces:** Designing spaces that serve multiple purposes, such as showcasing products and providing a productive work environment. - **Integrated Nature-infused Design:** Incorporating nature-inspired elements, like flower beds and rocky arrangements, in interior design to create a fluid connection between indoors and outdoors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to create innovative workspaces that integrate nature and provide multi-functional solutions. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create versatile pieces that can serve multiple purposes in a work environment with integrated nature elements. - **Architecture and Construction:** Opportunity for architects and construction companies to design and build offices that seamlessly blend nature-infused design with functionality and productivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Japanese Garden-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mitsui-co.md) - [Valley-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitaoka-group-office.md) - [Museum-Nestled Tokyo Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-tower-kyobashi.md) - [Tranquil Plant-Filled Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyer-co.md) - [Biophilic Workplace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-garden.md) - [Nature Integrated Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bochum-office.md) - [Office-Space Luscious Planets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley.md) - [Office-Friendly Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo-green-system.md) - [Playful Contemporary Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-contemporary-office.md)
