This type of bowl has a [sink-like feature](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-sink-system) that helps you consume the rest of your leftover food. Now you don't have to worry about the scraps that you sometimes leave behind while eating in a hurry as this bowl picks up the rest. It consists of [two bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luneup) and a plug where you can simply pull up the plug and the broth would drain into the bottom bowl so that it would leave the rest of the noodles at the top of the bowl for easy access. You can also try to make perfectly 'moistened crispy cereal' that can still have the same kind of taste. This sink bowl would make the perfect kitchen accessory. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Waste-reducing Food Containers:** Opportunity for innovators to design food storage solutions that reduce or eliminate food waste. - **Multi-functional Tableware:** Opportunity for designers to create versatile tableware that serves multiple purposes, such as combining a bowl and strainer in one. - **Interactive Kitchen Tools:** Opportunity for developers to create kitchen tools that enhance the dining experience, such as the Sink Bowl that adds a playful element to mealtime. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Housewares:** Innovative dishware like the Sink Bowl have the potential to disrupt the housewares industry with their unique and functional design. - **Food Storage:** The Sink Bowl points to possible innovation in the food storage industry, with its efficient draining system and space-saving design. - **Kitchen Accessories:** New and interactive kitchen products like the Sink Bowl have the potential to transform the kitchen accessories market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Instant Noodle-Inspired Measuring Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissin-measuring-cup.md) - [Squid-Shaped Noodle Forks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikr-fork.md) - [Imperfect Pasta Bowl Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasta-bowl.md) - [Squid-Shaped Noodle Forks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squid-fork.md) - [Mess-Avoiding Dipping Dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dipidup.md) - [Reinventive Modern Kitchen Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-kitchen.md) - [Dedicated Instant Noodle Cookers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thanko-instant-ramen-for-one-cooker.md) - [Artistic Cup Noodle Lids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistic-cup-noodle.md) - [Instant Noodle Measuring Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissin-cup-noodle-measuring-cup.md)
