The Single Hand Socket Strip is designed by Zhao Zhaohui with one purpose: helping you unplug with ease. Much like its name suggests, the outlet basically lets you pull out the plugs effortlessly with one hand. No worries though, because while you may think it'll damage the product, this socket guarantees that no harm will be done to the head or the wires. This is made possible with its tabs that allow you to slide out effortlessly. Overall, if you can't bother bending over, or going on your knees to unplug, the Single Hand Socket Strip will pretty much solve that problem. Even though it remains a concept at the moment, there's no doubt that it'll make it big should it ever become a reality. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Single Hand Socket Strip:** New trend of designing electric outlets that promote ease of use and convenience by using one hand. - **Effortless Unplugging:** A growing trend in the electric industry where devices and accessories let you quickly and painlessly unplug electronic devices. - **Smart Electric Outlets:** The new trend in the electric industry is developing intelligent electric outlets with new features that promote ease of use, safety and automation. ### Where This Applies - **Electronics:** The electronics industry can develop more products that use Single Hand Socket Strips to promote ease of use and convenience for consumers. - **Smart Home:** The smart home industry can utilize Smart Electric Outlets to promote ease of use, automation, and safety in the home. - **Retail:** The retail industry can offer innovative and affordable products that address Effortless Unplugging and convenience to consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rotating Outlet Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oconnect-onestep.md) - [Artfully Dynamic Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aunion.md) - [Modular Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodes.md) - [Power Strip Illuminated Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbox-power-strip.md) - [U-Shaped Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-2.md) - [Modular Power Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-power-strip-1.md) - [Design-Conscious Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-concept.md) - [Accessible Power Cord Attachments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipull.md) - [Surge Protector Outlet Extendors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-plug-outlet-extender.md)
