To promote [National Geographic's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-laptop) wildlife images, Silvio Medeiros came up with a campaign that was both humorous and poignant.

The art director used images of [wildlife animals taking selfies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfyzai) in mirrors - something that is a common occurrence in the human world with the advent of [instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blink-break-1) and smartphones that allow this to happen quite easily. According to Silvio Medeiros, "the whole idea its to show people that even during 'selfies' and 'Instagram' fever, decent images can still be produced." Now it seems like everyone practices the art of photography, but in reality there are few people who know how to produce a top-quality photo.

Medeiros and National Geographic are hoping that this humorous take will shed light on the quality images available through the company.
