Fish could have stopped there, but he's also added a nice mural behind the statue featuring the furry creature as well. It isn’t exactly a cute bunny for kids due to its grotesque nature, but it’s still a welcoming sight for those who appreciate [street art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1). 'Silly Pink Bunnies' was a recent addition to the Lower Haight mural, which has had numerous contributions from graffiti artists such as Mars-1. The statue can be seen in Lower Haight, San Francisco. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Grotesque Sculptures:** There is an opportunity for artists and sculptors to create more unsettling sculptures that bring attention to their respective areas. - **Unconventional Art:** Artists can create unconventional art that is more eye-catching and can attract visitors and tourists to a particular location. - **Street Art Expansion:** The trend of incorporating street art into everyday settings can continue to grow, with opportunities for artists, local businesses, and tourism boards to collaborate. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art Industry:** There is a growing market for unconventional and grotesque sculptures and artworks, which can lead to new opportunities for artists and galleries alike. - **Tourism Industry:** Cities and towns that feature unique street art and sculptures can attract more tourism, creating new opportunities for hotels, restaurants, and local businesses. - **Public Art Industry:** Opportunities exist for artists, businesses, and government agencies to collaborate on creating unique public art installations that reflect the character and personality of a specific location or community. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Soup-Themed Bunny Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kidrobot-2.md) - [Painterly Chocolate Bunny Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solid-chocolate-bunnies.md) - [Fairytale-Inspired Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circu-mr-bunny-bed.md) - [Limited Rabbit-Themed Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miffy-1.md) - [Bow Tie-Wearing Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bow-tiewearing-sculpture.md) - [Peace-Centric Oversized Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peace-head.md) - [Collectible Streetwear Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-milo-2.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Designer Pop Culture Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kkplus.md)
