# Technology-Accommodating Notebooks The Sidekick Notebook Fits Neatly onto Any Workstation By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2019-01-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sidekick-notebook References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2019/01/08/this-notebook-was-designed-for-crowded-workspaces/) & [trianglenotebook](https://trianglenotebook.com/) The Sidekick notebook has been created by Triangle Notebook as a clever solution for cramped workstations that never seem to have enough space for all your essentials. Designed by Tan Mavitan, the notebook features a somewhat peculiar shape that opens up to reveal an L-shaped writing surface that will fit neatly against the edge of your keyboard or laptop. This eliminates the need to use traditional A5 notebooks that open up wide and instantly hog much of the usable space on a desktop. The Sidekick notebook addresses the need for technology-accommodating solutions for the office along with the continued need for analog writing equipment, even in the face of digital alternatives. The notebook can be easily used in two different orientations to suit any kind of setup or impromptu workstation you have. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Technology-accommodating Notebooks:** The demand for practical notebook designs that cater to technology-friendly workstations offers opportunities for innovative solutions that are adaptable and space-saving. - **Analog Writing Equipment in a Digital World:** With the continued need for tangible writing tools, there is room for disruption in the market that seeks to marry traditional pen and paper with the advantages of digital technology. - **Flexible Workspace Solutions:** As more people seek to create impromptu workstations wherever they can, there is room for innovation in versatile products that adapt to various setups and lifestyles. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Office Supplies:** By creating practical and adaptable products like the Sidekick notebook, office supplies companies can offer solutions that cater to the modern demands of technology and flexible workspaces. - **Stationery:** The market for stationery can be disrupted by offering innovative and customized designs that embrace the demand for analog writing equipment in tandem with digital tools and devices. - **Workspace Design and Furniture:** There is an opportunity for furniture and workspace design companies to innovate by creating space-saving and versatile solutions that cater to the changing needs of modern work environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Productivity Desk Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-accessory-concept.md) - [Ultra-Portable Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-desk-design.md) - [Modular Refillable Notebook Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/notebook-system.md) - [Angled Workstation Whiteboard Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidstance-slope.md) - [Knick-Knack Storage Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiky-desk-concept.md) - [All-in-One Laptop Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-casa-popup-desk.md) - [Hybrid Professional Laptop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbitkey-hybrid-work-duo.md) - [Professional Device-Charging Notebooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-charging-notebook.md) - [Portable Desktop Workstation Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neo-box.md)
