They can be separated but who would want that? These are both [chair and sofa](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shadow-play-collection) (or loveseat). The pristine white Siamese chairs are laced together with [bright green rope](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knit-one) that can be interlaced in intricate and innovative ways to keep the [triplet (or twin) seats together](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wigiwama). Covitaca’s Siamese chairs were made to be exhibited at 100% Design London and Habitat Valencia. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interconnected Furniture:** The trend of interconnected furniture presents opportunities for creating innovative and customizable seating arrangements. - **Multifunctional Seating:** The trend of multifunctional seating opens up possibilities for creating versatile furniture pieces that can serve multiple purposes. - **Innovative Design Elements:** The trend of incorporating innovative design elements, such as interlacing rope, offers opportunities for creating visually striking and unique furniture pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore the trend of interconnected furniture to create innovative and customizable seating solutions. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can leverage the trend of multifunctional seating to create space-saving and versatile furniture layouts for various environments. - **Craftsmanship:** The craftsmanship industry can embrace the trend of incorporating innovative design elements to create visually appealing and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anatomical Lounge Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/himalaya-pelvis-chair.md) - [Puzzle-Like Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twinsmdf.md) - [Simplistically Shaped Geometric Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sitter-chair.md) - [Intertwined Wooden Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hug-chair-1.md) - [Dynamic Structural Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldont-chair.md) - [Plant-Based Dynamic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chiachair.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quella-chair.md) - [Bended Tubular Chair-Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wire-chair-concept.md) - [Futuristic Chair Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/futuristic-chair-concept.md)
