The sculptor's work of the Sculptor and the Ashtray project was the main influence as it explores two opposing concepts. The first of the range is a hand-crafted look with nin plaster models that inspire the collection -- the second was mass produced. The Shou Sugi Ban Collection is made up of nine wooden bowls with a sculptural look -- each one in an edition of ten. All of the bowls are made traditionally using [recycled Lebanese cedar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculptures) before it is carved by hand.
