Epson is looking to push the boundaries of conventional definitions of short-throw projectors by launching a spectacular new 4K projector that is more than capable of throwing 80-diagonal-inch displays in glorious 4K from a distance of only one inch away.

The 'PowerLite 810E' is a 4K projector that makes use of a tri-chip projection mechanism. Measuring in at only 27.3 x 13.5 x 5.7 inches and weighing in at 12.5 kg, this particular 4K projector comes with a light source that offers an estimated 30,000 hours of use. Elsewhere, the projector offers all the desired connectivity features including HDMI and USB, with added bonuses such as embedded media player support and streamlined screen mirroring, not to mention speakers for high-clarity audio.

Holding the status as Epson's first ultra-short-throw lamp-free projector with 4K capabilities, the 'PowerLite 810E' is ideally designed for diminutive public realms where space is at a premium but quality of display is not up for compromise.
