# Slumbering Cuddle Toys The Shnoozle Sleep-Time Plush Lulls Children into Dreamland By Meghan Young | Published 2013-02-22 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shnoozle-sleeptime-plush References: [coolhunting](http://www.coolhunting.com/design/shnoozles.php) & [shnoozles](http://shnoozles.com/) Children can have just as hard a time falling asleep as an adult bogged down with countless of responsibilities; it might be as simple as being afraid of the monster in the closet, but whatever the case may be, the Shnoozle Sleep-Time Plush will help ease tired totes into dreamland. The Shnoozle Sleep-Time Plush is a simple concept well-executed. It has retractable eyelids that show children even toys get tired before an exciting day. Available in two models, the pink Shah-Shah and the brown Shu-Shu, the Shnoozle Sleep-Time Plush does have any electronic or plastic parts, so parents don't have to worry about it hurting their child accidentally. In 2012, it was recognized by the Mom's Choice Awards for its clever construction. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Plush Toys:** Designing plush toys with interactive and sensory features to enhance children's sleep experience. - **Non-toxic Sleep Aids:** Developing sleep aids for children that are free from electronic or plastic components to ensure child safety. - **Emotionally Intelligent Toys:** Creating toys that mimic human emotions to comfort and soothe children during bedtime. ### Where This Applies - **Toy Manufacturing:** Exploring opportunities to incorporate innovative and safe features into plush toys for children. - **Childcare Products:** Developing non-toxic sleep aids for children to provide a safe and peaceful sleep environment. - **Educational Toys:** Integrating emotionally intelligent features into educational toys to enhance children's emotional development. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sensory Plush Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mooshmoosh.md) - [Heroic Bedtime Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedtime-defenderz.md) - [Anxiety Soothing Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hugimals-antianxiety-plushie.md) - [Playful AI Companions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snorble.md) - [Comforting Pillow Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comforting-pillow.md) - [Multi-Sensory Play Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meditate.md) - [Oceanic Sleep Soothers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angelcare-magical-dreams-bobby.md) - [Weighted Plush Companions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hugarounds.md) - [Smart Baby Sound Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-sleep-aid.md)
