GQ Magazine and apparel manufacturer Nautica have teamed up to for a [charity initiative](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philanthropic-partnership) called The Gentleman's fund. The first item to be introduced is a limited edition Men's Nautica [Polo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-bluffs) shirt. Proceeds from the Polo sales will benefit A Better Chance which is one of the five charities they will support with this campaign. The first 50 shirts will have a GQ logo printed on the inside.

**Implications** - Business relationships between popular corporations and growing charities are profitable for both of these forces in terms of consumer interest. By teaming up with a charity or cause, major corporations show the public that their interests lie in other domains besides profit. Charities with strong relationships to corporations see dramatic increases in funds and public awareness of their cause.
