TRS Studio Attempts to Assist the Housing Crisis in Peru

Local architectural firm TRS Studio offers shipping container housing as a low-cost accommodation in Peru.

This is a trial run to provide "[communities that struggle with housing issues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-house-1) and lack resources to devote to buying construction materials" with [sustainable living spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cabana). Through the concept, TRS Studio fuses two shipping containers that are topped with a polycarbonate roof. The materials that are used in the construction of these dwellings are low-cost, durable and abundant.

In terms of the floor plan, the ground level of the shipping container housing boasts living necessities such as a kitchenette, a toilet, as well as a bedroom. In addition, TRS Studio some space available for residents to grow a small garden which will be able to thrive as plenty of natural light can enter through the polycarbonate ceiling.
