Dubbed 'Squirrel Park,' the project is headed by [Allford Hall Monaghan Morris](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornerstone-project) (AHMM) and it will feature a total of four two-bedroom homes. Shipping containers have become a popular construction tool for architects as the volumes lend themselves to [modularity and customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affordable-housing-prototype), are easy to maintain, and quite affordable, as well. When it comes to the details of the project, their use makes perfect sense. Squirrel Park is commissioned by a restaurant owner in the area who "believes in second chances." The shipping container housing development is intended to offer comfort to individuals who have been incarcerated or who have had a rough go at life.
