I love the vibrant colors as well as the lush luxury feel these vases ooze. Placing them on top of each other and mixing the colors makes great sculptural homes for your house plants. They are created by the Japanese designer, Jin Kuramoto who will be presenting his latest design projects at the [Complimentary Colors exhibition](http://newwind.jp/#newwind) in Milan this week. Rocks shouldn’t just be used for jewelry - they should also be used for home decor! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Japanese Product Design:** Explore disruptive innovation opportunities in Japanese product design at the Complimentary Colors exhibition in Milan. - **Vibrant Colors for Home Decor:** Discover disruptive innovation opportunities in utilizing vibrant colors for home decor using the Rock Vases inspired by traditional Japanese Kenzan pinholders. - **Sculptural Homes for House Plants:** Identify disruptive innovation opportunities in creating sculptural homes for house plants by stacking and mixing the vibrant Rock Vases. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Design Exhibitions:** Design exhibition organizers can harness the interest in Japanese product design and showcase innovative offerings at their upcoming events. - **Home Decor:** Home decor businesses can tap into the trend of vibrant colors by incorporating the Rock Vases inspired by traditional Japanese Kenzan pinholders in their product lines. - **Plant Accessories:** Manufacturers of plant accessories can explore disruptive innovation opportunities in creating unique and sculptural homes for house plants, such as the Rock Vases. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Delicate Colorful Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-colorful-vase.md) - [Sculpturally Provocative Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-sculptural-vase.md) - [Dynamic Colorful Glass Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilion-set.md) - [Colorful Geometric Ceramic Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barva-vases.md) - [Exquisite Circular Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/salt-vases.md) - [Miniature Cylindrical Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanakubari.md) - [Nature-Inspired Colorful Glass Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anemona.md) - [Ocean-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-coralshaped-vase.md) - [Artful Dynamic Kinetic Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-vases.md)
