Trend Hunter's President Shelby Walsh, who was recently named one of Canada's most powerful women by WXN, recently appeared on BNN to reveal some of the top retail trends for 2016 that will help competitive brands stay ahead.
Emerging retail technology trends to look forward to include: In-Store Projected, which embraces multimedia as a means capturing consumer interest through interactive displays and Connected Vanity, which embraces socially connected mirrors as a means to inform shopping decisions. Walsh also touches on upcoming trends in millennial parenting, momentary marketing, as well as the way matchmaking on Tinder has inspired brands to suggest new products to consumers.
