[US Olympic artistic gymnast](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eat-like-an-olympia) Shawn Johnson was honoured for her silver medal yesterday, in her own Madam Tussuad's moment -- only with a crucial difference. [Her likeness was sculpted](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/queen-elizabeth-ii-1) from butter, not wax. I have no idea why, but I am sure Shawn Johnson will be delighted to share the spotlight with the traditional [butter cow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowflake-butter). And, it gets even butter - the sculptor plans to include a balance beam into her piece. It currently still looks a bit fetish to me, so maybe this will sort that out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Butter Sculptures:** Opportunity to innovate by creating intricate and detailed butter sculptures for various events and celebrations. - **Celebrity Butter Sculptures:** Opportunity to disrupt the celebrity merchandising industry by creating butter sculptures of famous personalities. - **Interactive Butter Sculptures:** Opportunity to create interactive butter sculptures that incorporate additional elements to enhance the viewer experience. ### Where This Applies - **Food and Beverage:** Butter sculptures can be incorporated as unique and eye-catching attractions in the food and beverage industry, such as at fairs or themed events. - **Art and Entertainment:** Disruptive opportunities in the art and entertainment industry by incorporating butter sculptures as unconventional artistic displays or installations. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Butter sculptures can be used as unique attractions in the tourism and hospitality industry to attract visitors and enhance the overall experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rewarding Peanut Butter Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reeses-medals.md) - [Energizing Protein Pastas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barilla-protein-plus-pasta.md) - [Indulgent Sports-Focused Chocolate Medals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocolate-medals.md) - [Sausage Roll Wax Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/greggs-sausage-roll.md) - [Olympics-Inspired Bourbon Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/browned-butter-bourbon.md) - [Private Label Product Promotions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-day-promotion.md) - [Mountainous Milan Olympics Medals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olympic-medal-design.md) - [Milk-Filled Jackets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/protein-puffer-jacket.md) - [Thematic Athlete-Celebrating Dairy Commercials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dairy-commercial.md)
