Since privacy was a top priority for this modern family home, the extraordinary pool became the focal point for this architectural masterpiece. A slated rooftop allows light to permeate throughout the space, providing a bit of sunshine as home owners go for an early morning swim. The water provides not only a breathtaking feature, but also allows air to circulate naturally. The [combination of concrete, wood and glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anchor-house) creates an eye-catching mix of industrial and organic materials. An outdoor deck overlooks the lush forest and is also filled with greenery, bearing the illusion of being in the great outdoors. Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the SHATOTTO Architects 'SA Residence' is an offbeat home with some magnificent architectural details. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Atrium Pools:** The incorporation of atrium pools in modern homes creates an awe-inspiring and unique architectural feature. - **Outdoor Deck:** Designing outdoor decks overlooking natural landscapes brings a sense of being in the great outdoors and enhances the living experience. - **Industrial-organic Mix:** Combining industrial and organic materials in architecture creates visually striking designs that blend the modern and natural elements. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** The use of atrium pools and outdoor decks presents an opportunity for architects to explore innovative design solutions. - **Home Construction:** Incorporating atrium pools and outdoor decks in homes offers a unique selling point and enhances the value of new constructions. - **Interior Design:** Working with the industrial-organic mix trend allows interior designers to create visually appealing and harmonious living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Forest Sanctuary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sadowski-house.md) - [Compact Calming Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-sheltered-space.md) - [Moat-Edge Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-antriya-house.md) - [Floating Canopy Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holocene-house.md) - [Underwater Pool Window Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hastingssunrise.md) - [Geometric Cave-Like Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cavelike-homes.md) - [Temple-Inspired Idyllic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/k-residence-1.md) - [Openable Wooden Shutter Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-house-1.md) - [Floating Courtyard Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baan-oo.md)
