Not one for needles (who is?), I've never cared for what happens to them after they inflict their pain on me. Sharps Compliance, however, did and does. Following the [waste conversion movement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pfas-removal-technology) that has taken the world by storm, it has discovered a way to create [cement out of medical materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cob-brick).

Dubbed PELLA-DRX, Sharps Compliance believes that the [3 billion needles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avenacy-1) used annually (not including those used illegally) will provide a substantial amount of cement for industrial use. Although offering other waste-reducing options, Sharps Compliance thinks this one is the most promising.
