As well as boasting features like room-by-room navigation and [self-cleaning brushroll](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfcleaning-robotic-vacuum), the new [robotic vacuum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xlean-tr1) empties itself when it returns to its dock. Once the robot has finished a cleaning session, it makes its way back to the bagless base and uses a [self-emptying feature](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roomba-205-dustcompactor-combo-robot) so that it is ready to clean the next time. The Self-Empty Base that pairs with the Shark IQ Robot Self-Empty is capable of holding about a month's worth of debris, which makes the chore of keeping the home clean more hands-off than ever before. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Self-cleaning Robotic Appliances:** Innovative self-cleaning capabilities on robotic appliances like vacuum cleaners offer a low-maintenance solution for busy households. - **Automated Home Cleaning Solutions:** Integrating smart technology into home cleaning appliances creates new opportunities for automation, enabling more efficient cleaning solutions and freeing up time for other tasks. - **AI-powered Home Appliances:** The use of artificial intelligence in home appliances like robotic vacuum cleaners aims to revolutionize household chores and make daily tasks even easier to manage. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliance Manufacturing:** Manufacturers can capitalize on the need for low-maintenance cleaning solutions by developing and marketing new, innovative products like self-cleaning robotic vacuums. - **Smart Home Technology:** Implementing the latest smart technology and artificial intelligence capabilities into household appliances like robotic vacuums offers a seamless, connected living experience for homeowners. - **Manufacturing Automation:** As the market for automated home cleaning solutions grows, there is an opportunity to innovate manufacturing processes and implement automation technologies to make products more efficient and cost-effective. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Complete Cleaning Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shark-matrix.md) - [Intelligent Navigation Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roborock-q-revo.md) - [Dirt-Detecting Vacuum Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shark-powerdetect-clean-empty-system.md) - [Maintenance-Free Vacuum Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shark-powerdetect.md) - [Multi-Level Mapping Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roborock-q5.md) - [Easy-to-Use Ultra-Efficient Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spring-cleaning-essential.md) - [Self-Cleaning Robot Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfcleaning-robot-vacuum.md) - [Anti-Allergy Robotic Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qseries.md) - [Maintenance-Free Vacuum Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roborock-dyad-pro.md)
