# Famous Face Fascinations Shar Milne Crafts Realistic Celebrity Renderings Using Vector Graphics By Jason Soy | Published 2011-11-23 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shar-milne References: [dopeart.tumblr](http://dopeart.tumblr.com/post/13124026545/suicide-blonde-by-sharon-milne) & [chewedkandi.deviantart](http://chewedkandi.deviantart.com/) I can't say that I'm a major fan of vector art, but Shar Milne sure does make it difficult for me not to like it. Using celebrities as muses, the UK-based artist is adept at replicating the famous faces of stars in the entertainment industry. How can I dislike anything celebrity related? Those familiar with [vector graphics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vector-graphics-software) will know that, often times, the blending of one color into the next is very abrupt since colored layers of shapes are piled upon each other to form a coherent image. It's this transparent overlapping look that can be off-putting at times, but that's simply not a problem with Shar Milne. In fact, Milne's blending is so seamless that these [vector portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vectorubi) may trick some viewers into thinking they were created using an airbrush. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celebs](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebs) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Realistic Vector Art:** Artists can explore the potential of creating realistic vector portraits using blending techniques and expertise, especially in the field of digital art. - **Celebrity-inspired Art:** Opportunities exist for designers to create unique and intriguing celebrity-inspired art that caters to popular culture and market demand. - **Seamless Color Blending:** Developing methods and software for creating seamless color blending in vector graphics opens up possibilities for creating artistic designs with various applications. ### Where This Applies - **Digital Art:** The digital art industry can benefit from advancements in vector art and the creation of seamless color blending techniques to create refined and realistic designs. - **Graphic Design:** Graphic designers can create captivating visuals for various media including advertising, marketing, and branding with realistic vector art designs inspired by famous celebrities. - **Pop Culture Merchandising:** Opportunities exist for companies in the pop culture merchandising industry to capitalize on the demand for celebrity-inspired art in clothing, accessories, and other products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [AI Avatar Creations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faceless-avatar.md) - [AI-Generated Self-Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/persona-ai.md) - [Whimsical AI Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clayify.md) - [3D-to-Vector Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesh-tonic.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [AI Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portraitia.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md)
