Designer Kristian Aus presents a collection of six modern lampshades that take six different forms and come in one of six different colors, capable of creating an aesthetic punch. Produced by [UNDER of Australia](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stay-under-the-radar), these are essentially [slipcovers for your bare lightbulb illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow). Their Tyvek fabric enables them to be easily pulled over dangling cords to envelope brilliant globes. The highly textured material is [translucent, allowing the glowing core](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light) to burst through with the vivid hue of the particular Shapely Pendant Lamp. And while this product has a boldness about it, it establishes a lovely dimly lit atmosphere. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Shapely Pendant Lamps:** There is an opportunity for designers to create aesthetically pleasing pendant lamps that showcase unique, geometric shapes. - **Slip-on Covers for Lightbulbs:** Creating slip-on covers for lightbulbs allows for easy customization of lighting fixtures and adds an opportunity for personalization to the lighting industry. - **Translucent, Textured Materials:** Using translucent, textured materials in lighting design can create a visually striking effect and opportunity for innovation in the lighting industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can create unique lighting fixtures using geometric shapes and textured materials to appeal to consumers looking for visually interesting and customizable design options. - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can explore slip-on covers for lightbulbs and unique shapes and materials to create customizable, dynamic lighting options for consumers. - **Architecture:** Architects can incorporate Shapely Pendant Lamps into their designs to add a personalized touch and visually interesting focal point to spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Soft Rope Lampshades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hat-collection.md) - [Stealthy Pendant Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warp-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Geometry Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md) - [Dazzling Polyhedral Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puff-pendant-lights.md) - [Organically Fluid Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-collection.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Recycled Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zbozhzha-pendant-light.md)
