The dining table, armchair, chaise longue, side table, partition and vase from [Nendo's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nendo-and-daniel-arsham) latest collection are all shaped by gravity. The striking line seeks to give the [glass as a material](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sklo) control over the design process. The venture was inspired by founder Oki Sato's visit to the WonderGlass workshop. Impressed by the highly-skilled craftsmanship and techniques, he was motivated to find out what it would be like to have an [entire collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightness-of-form) that is shaped by gravity. Through the experiment, Sato sought out to "do less and achieve more," ultimately producing one-of-a-kind pieces.

The molten glass was typically poured into a square frame and after an appropriate cooling temperature was reached, it was transported to a mould where the material was left to set and be shaped by purely natural forces.
