The Shabd Simon-Alexander SS11 collection has completely changed my perceptions of tie-dye forever. As a child of the late 80s and early 90s, I was at one point bombarded with images of psychedelic tie-dye patterns in vibrant colors. Yet this line shows a [softer, almost ethereal side](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frankies-bikinis-keepsakes-collection) of tie-dye.

An eco-conscious collection, the Shabd Simon-Alexander SS11 line offers the [perfect outfits for spring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/splendid-srping-2025). Light and airy, the New York-based designer's overall work is inspired by the [folk costume tradition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-rose-sparrow) of beginning one dress with the remnants from the last.

The Shabd Simon-Alexander SS11 collection in particular was inspired by everything from the Barcelona Pavilion to a model's bathroom. Alexander centered the collection around the patterns and color of marble.
