Stuart Palley looks to document the beauty of California, but also has the intention to spread awareness of the droughts and wildfires that are destroying California's forests, mountains and fields. The series is titled 'Terra Flamma' and looks to bring not only eyes, but public consciousness to the wreckage that is tearing through the beautiful landscapes. The series takes the camera and uses long exposures to get the wide shot, capturing the full, immersive flames that spread, creating the inferno. While reporting the disaster, the series of wildfire photography also demonstrates the duality that is captured in the beauty and destruction caused by the flames. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Wildfire Awareness:** Using technology like AI to predict and prevent wildfires and raise awareness through creative photography. - **Sustainable Landscape Management:** Utilizing sustainable and eco-friendly methods to protect forests and natural landscapes from wildfire. - **Environmental Activism:** Encouraging individuals and communities to take action towards climate change and disaster prevention. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Using photography to drive social change and environmental protection. - **Technology:** Developing innovative technology for preventing and managing natural disasters. - **Environmental Conservation:** Implementing strategies for environmental protection, conservation, and education. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Disaster-Striken New Furniture Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-perfect.md) - [Wildfire-Detecting Social Monitoring AI Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/following-wildfire.md) - [Crowdsourced Wildfire Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-watch.md) - [Wildfire Damage-Minimizing Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wildfire-defense-systems.md) - [Wildfire Relief Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beauty-together.md) - [Wildfire-Preventative Hillside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agd.md) - [Charity Firefighter Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2026-australian-firefighters.md) - [Real-Time Fire Alerts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watch-duty.md) - [Wildfire Relief Apparel Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-v.md)
