He created this [wonderland of tubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) in Paris' Palais de Tokyo, to bring together the power of plastic, air and organized chaos. According to the article in Dazed Digital, the tubes are reminiscent of the tunnels that used to run under Paris to send notes from various ends of town. Oh, the world prior to the telephone, how neat! Visitors to the exhibit get to watch fascinated as two "air bubbles," one red and one blue, run through the tubes. As Serge Spitzer describes it, "It’s like machines that become dazed and confused, by chance." Unfortunately, the tubes are not for human use, but the symbolism is just as cool. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Installation Art:** Discover disruptive innovation opportunities in creating immersive and interactive art experiences like the super tunnel slides. - **Power of Plastic:** Explore how to leverage the versatility and durability of plastic materials in innovative product design and development. - **Organized Chaos:** Find opportunities to embrace controlled chaos in business strategies and processes to encourage creativity and flexibility. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can leverage immersive installations like super tunnel slides to create unique and captivating experiences for audiences. - **Plastics Manufacturing:** Plastics manufacturing industry can explore new applications and design possibilities for plastic materials through inspiration from installations like the super tunnel slides. - **Creativity and Innovation Consulting:** Creativity and innovation consulting firms can help businesses embrace and harness the power of organized chaos to foster creativity and adaptability in their operations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Dynamic Acoustic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otonomori.md) - [Swirled Public Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tunnel-vision-installation.md) - [Vibrantly Pink Skelter Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stay-playful.md) - [Tubed Immersive Organ-Like Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organlike-installation.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Structural Energetic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape.md) - [Spiky Inflatable Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-sculptures1.md) - [Landmark-Inspired Sleek Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doha-modern-playground.md) - [Generational-Lasting Dynamic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mike-hewson-2.md)
