# Revamped Vintage Furnishings The Seo Table by Din & Dip Draws Modernism from an Antique Model By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-01-11 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seo-table-by-din-dip References: [blog.leibal](http://blog.leibal.com/furniture/seo-table/) & [dinndip](http://www.dinndip.com/seo-desk.html) Observing the Seo Table by Din & Dip, you might initially be surprised to learn that its inspiration came from classic Korean design. The sleek and even industrial-looking object embodies the same clean lines and elegant horizontal emphasis that more traditional pieces take. It's likely that the primary material of [powder-coated steel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twist-side-table) might have thrown you off this stylistic association. Finished in black, the thin and tubular supportive frame manages even more successfully to express a lightness. Despite the integration of [two planar tiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solis-collection) into the top of the workstation, this portion maintains a delicateness as well. A broad but shallow [storage cubby](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table) is defined by the tabletop and the panel beneath it. The Seo Table by Din & Dip emphasizes the presence of a void, but decorates it with a coat of yellow paint and a bright perforated backing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Revamped Vintage Furnishings:** Opportunity for disrupted innovation in the furniture industry by modernizing traditional designs with unexpected materials and color accents. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Opportunity for disrupted innovation in the furniture industry by modernizing traditional designs with unexpected materials and color accents. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Impactful Industrial Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/to-steel-side-table.md) - [Intersecting Two-Part Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shaolin-side-table.md) - [Elegant Tonal Table Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silos-collection.md) - [Modernized Old-Fashioned Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/union-side-table.md) - [Dynamic Strong Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharp-table.md) - [Contemporary Elegant Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-table-designs.md) - [Sleek Metallic Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scissor-side-table.md) - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md) - [Slender Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tong-side-table.md)
