# Geisha Storage Devices Japanese Sensu Handheld Fan USB is Elegeantly Inconspicuous By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-08-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensu-handheld-fan-usb References: [craziestgadgets](http://craziestgadgets.com/2009/08/27/japanese-sensu-handheld-fan-usb-flash-drive/) & [geekstuff4u](http://www.geekstuff4u.com/japanese-sensu-usb-16gb.html) The Japanese Sensu handheld fan USB is a perfect solution to the often wasted fan. Now instead of it lying around when you're not hot (or for a geisha, performing) you could be using it for up to 16gb of storage. I always found something slightly (more than slightly) attractive about those beautiful geishas waving their fans so gracefully around the room. What if those fans had a little more important things to do? The Japanese Sensu handheld fan USB is a delightful and deceitful piece of computer technology. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multifunctional Gadgets:** The trend of combining multiple functions into a single gadget provides innovative opportunities for compact and convenient storage solutions. - **Discreet Technology:** The rise of inconspicuous technology opens up opportunities for stealthy and elegant storage devices that blend seamlessly into everyday objects. - **Cultural-inspired Tech:** The integration of traditional cultural elements into modern technology presents opportunities for unique and culturally rich storage devices. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can explore new product design possibilities by incorporating storage capabilities into everyday items such as handheld fans. - **Fashion Accessories:** The fashion accessories industry can leverage the trend of discreet technology to create stylish and functional storage devices that complement various outfits. - **Tourism and Souvenirs:** The tourism and souvenirs industry can tap into the demand for cultural-inspired tech by offering storage devices that showcase traditional elements of different cultures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Object-Resembling USB Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandisk-1.md) - [Unique Book-Inspired Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/book-shaped-fans.md) - [Charming Retro Storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floppy-disk-inspired-sd-card.md) - [Laptop-Fitted USB Stick Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saint-antoine.md) - [Bird-Shaped USB Flash Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinge.md) - [Portable SSD Storage Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ssd-storage-device.md) - [Modern Folding Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiarmour-titanium-fan.md) - [Multi-Functional Tech-Forward Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jisulife-handheld-fan-ultra2.md) - [Portable Mountable Storage Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/genki-savepoint.md)
