This gives it a greater visible presence and makes mounting and dismounting a whole lot easier. The Segway SE-3 Patroller runs on multiple lithium-ion batteries that can either be charged from a regular wall outlet or hot-swapped for continuous operation. The vehicle is equipped with independent rear-wheel electric drive, emergency lights, sirens and an LED headlight. Vehicle operation data such as speed and battery life can be viewed on a 4.3-inch display that remains clear and easy to view even in the presence of harsh sunlight.
