The playtime-inspired toaster was created by designer Choe Jeongju. This courteous contraption not only toasts your favorite bread in a blink of an eye, it also graciously tips it directly onto your waiting plate ready to be dressed with your [favorite toppings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epure-xs-toast-bag). Undeniably fun to watch, this little gadget certainly has the lure of [novelty](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platoo-interactive-sensory-meal-plate) on its side, but will it outlast this often fleeting interest? Toasters have not had a makeover in eons, and although the old-fashion model has always gotten the job done in the past, adding a little more interest to an age-old design is commendable if it works well. Only time and its toasting capabilities will tell if this quirky little toaster will last. Inject a little carefree joy into your morning routine with See Saw Toast. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Playful Kitchen Appliances:** Introducing playful and innovative kitchen appliances, like the See Saw Toast toaster, can bring joy and novelty to daily routines. - **Revolutionary Cooking Gadgets:** The creation of cooking gadgets, such as the See Saw Toast, that combine functionality with innovative and playful designs can disrupt the kitchen appliance industry. - **Upgraded Toasters:** The demand for upgraded toasters with unique features, like the See Saw Toast, demonstrates a potentially disruptive opportunity for manufacturers to tap into consumer desires for more entertaining and efficient kitchen appliances. ### Where This Applies - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** The introduction of playful and innovative kitchen appliances, like the See Saw Toast toaster, can spark opportunities for manufacturers to create unique and attention-grabbing products. - **Cooking Gadgets:** The development of cooking gadgets with revolutionary designs, such as the See Saw Toast, offers the potential to disrupt the cooking gadget industry by combining functionality with playful elements. - **Appliance Design:** Incorporating innovative and fun features, like the See Saw Toast toaster, into appliance design can present disruptive opportunities for designers to create products that stand out in the market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rocking Robotic Toaster Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robot-toaster.md) - [Sliding Easy-Access Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slide-toaster.md) - [Touchscreen Interface Smart Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toasty-one.md) - [Multi-Position Bread Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taurus-toaster-30.md) - [Precision Touchscreen-Enabled Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tineco-toasty-one.md) - [Modern Aesthetic Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hay-sowden-toaster.md) - [Modern WiFi-Equipped Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolution-cooking.md) - [50s-Style Countertop Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-toaster.md) - [Modern Japanese Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/japanese-toaster.md)
