It is made up of a cozy armchair dubbed Coat as though it has an identity disorder and a set of baskets appropriately named Bask. Although the lines are clean and the colors are fresh, each piece has a homey feel that makes them perfect for creative and warm-hearted individuals. Recently launched, the furniture collection by Sebastian Herkner for Moroso also has a contemporary edge that will be appreciated in modern homes. The [Coat armchair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parka-sofa) boasts a gradient pattern, an easily removable soft cover and legless support that allows it to rest directly on the floor. The Bask line mixes a wireframe half with a more traditional woven half for a creation that is at once nostalgic and modern. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Colorful Furniture:** Creating furniture in vibrant colors brings a fresh and modern aesthetic to the market, appealing to customers who are looking for a bold and contemporary home decor. - **Crafty Design:** Incorporating craft elements into furniture design adds a handmade and artisanal touch, catering to consumers who value unique and personalized pieces. - **Contemporary Home Decor:** Designing furniture with clean lines and modern features meets the demand for sleek and minimalist designs in the growing market of contemporary home decor. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers in the furniture industry can explore the production of colorful and craft-inspired furniture pieces to tap into the demand for unique home decor. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate colorful and crafty furniture into their projects to offer clients a distinctive and personalized home environment. - **Home Decor Retail:** Retailers specializing in home decor can feature a curated selection of contemporary furniture that combines clean lines and vibrant colors to attract modern design enthusiasts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elegant Simplistic Sofa Seatings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taru-collection.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Ultra-Cozy Contemporary Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-furniture-collection1.md) - [Versatile Nesting Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozmo-1.md) - [Contemporary Upholstered Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-upholstered-seating.md) - [Mochi-Inspired Seating Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mochiinspired-seating.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Dynamic Vibrancy Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porro-linea.md) - [Fluffy Organically-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fallwinter-21-minimo.md)
