This master manipulator is an artist that uses various media to create the ultimate masterpiece. Sebastiaan Bremer applies everything from [paint and inks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter) to physical etchings to his photographs, creating an utterly original art piece. Many of his photos are from his own past, [personal mementos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farming-photographs) that have become like a "[distorted memory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light) or a magical dream," as Life Lounge describes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multi-media Art:** The fusion of various art forms can create new, immersive and stimulating forms of art. - **Personal Nostalgia Art:** Art that blends personal memories with current media can create unique and emotional connections with audiences. - **Image Manipulation Art:** The use of various techniques to manipulate and transform images can create unusual and striking pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art & Design:** The field of Art and Design is a suitable industry to explore opportunities around the fusion of multiple media and image manipulation techniques. - **Advertising & Marketing:** Brands can leverage personal nostalgia art to create unique and emotional connections with audiences in advertising campaigns. - **Film, TV & Video Production:** Image manipulation art is gaining popularity in the film and video industry as a tool to create stunning and captivating visuals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Photograph-Centric Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/photography-seoul-museum-of-art.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md) - [Burgeoning Psychedelic Art Movements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-art-movement.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md)
