# Irregular Interconnected Furniture The 'Branca' Seating Furniture is Beautifully Unexpected By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2016-02-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seating-furniture References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2016/02/08/the-branch-bench/) & [benjaminmigliore](http://benjaminmigliore.com/) Although the 'Branca' seating furniture might at first glance seem like a piece of conceptual furniture, the reality is that it's a reality. Rather than being individual seating solutions that simply share a common aesthetic, the 'Branca' bench and stool can be connected to one another. This offers both the option for expanding seating as well as a more unified sense of home furniture. Designed and crafted by Benjamin Migliore, the 'Branca' seating furniture collection has a number of [suspended supports](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archetypes) that seem relatively random in design. However, when admired from the right angles, the seating solutions divulge a total sense of cohesion that's inspired by the [organic world](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ensemble-1). This makes them a great addition to modern interiors to add a natural touch. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Interconnected Furniture:** The trend of interconnected furniture offers opportunities for creating customizable and expandable seating solutions. - **Conceptual Furniture:** The trend of conceptual furniture challenges traditional design norms and encourages creativity in home furnishing. - **Organic-inspired Design:** The trend of organic-inspired design brings a natural and harmonious feel to modern interiors. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore innovative ways to create interconnected seating solutions that meet the needs of modern consumers. - **Home Furnishing:** The home furnishing industry can embrace the trend of conceptual furniture to offer unique and artistic pieces for customers looking for something different. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can integrate organic-inspired design elements to create a more tranquil and nature-inspired living space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interlocking Puzzle-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-table.md) - [Organic Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roots-collection-1.md) - [Modular Beam-Themed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-collection.md) - [Illusion Organic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/siembra-capsule.md) - [Curvacious Oak Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-seating.md) - [Systematic Seating Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybla-seating-system.md) - [Playful Sustainable Lounge Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-collection-1.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Contrasting Element Concrete Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conecto-modular-stool.md)
