# Portable Theft-Proof Saddles The Ta+Too Bike Seat Accessory Detaches to Prevent Stealing By M | Published 2016-05-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seat-accessory References: [bit.ly](http://bit.ly/1OIqEKl) & [selleroyal](http://www.selleroyal.com/en/tattoo) Often times saddles are one of the first things [stolen from a bike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bosch-battery-lock), and the Ta+Too seat accessory features a [detachable design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-bike-concept-design) that allows riders to take the seat with them. The seat's portable aesthetic allows riders to have a piece of mind that their seat won't be taken unknowingly while their bike is parked outside. The Ta+Too seat is structured in such a way that the top portion comes undone from the seat, allowing riders to take it with them. This way, a thief can't steal a fully functional saddle nor can they ride away comfortably on the bicycle. The top portion is able to clip back seamlessly into the base when needed, and its sleek and slender size makes it lightweight enough to [slip into bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bike-backpack). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Portable Theft-proof Saddles:** A trend in bike accessories that feature detachable designs to prevent saddle theft. - **Peace of Mind Bike Security:** A trend in bike accessories that provide riders with the assurance that their saddles won't be stolen. - **Convenient Bike Seat Solutions:** A trend in bike accessories that offer easy-to-use and lightweight options for detachable seats. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bike Accessories:** An industry that can develop innovative products that address bike theft concerns through detachable saddle solutions. - **Bicycle Security:** An industry that can incorporate theft-proof saddle designs as part of their overall bike security solutions. - **Outdoor Recreation:** An industry that can embrace portable theft-proof saddles as an attractive feature for outdoor enthusiasts and bike rental services. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Antitheft Storage Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afford-chair.md) - [Custom-Fit 3D-Printed Bike Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personomic-saddle.md) - [Bold Mobile Work Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omniseat-portable-productivity.md) - [3D-Printed Lattice Bike Saddles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaen-bike-saddle.md) - [Foldable Flatpack Bike Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ahha-toaster-bike-rack.md) - [Custom-Printed Cyclist Saddles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fizik-onetoone-saddle.md) - [3D-Printed Bicycle Saddles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matrix-mirror-saddle.md) - [Collapsible Posture Support Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-portable-seat.md) - [Discreet Connected Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laas-olock.md)
