The creative director of [Lore Group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lore-bath-house), Jacu Strauss, works together with [Vinterior](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henry-holland-studio-1) to create four themed suites at the Sea Containers hotel in London. The suites are designed in a way that reflects the look of cruise ship cabins as an extension of the existing [nautical theme of the hotel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/billy-otea) itself, as it is just along the River Thames.

Strauss explains, "The aim was to delight, but to remain practical. I had to experiment with all kinds of options to ensure nothing felt too 'museum-like' – it was important that the spaces still had fun, tongue-in-cheek moments without tipping into gimmick or comedy. We treated the vintage pieces as a curated collection – items that invite guests to use and enjoy them, making sure they feel like they can live in the space rather than just admire it from a distance."
