Pejac utilizes negative space in order to create depth in his work. In order to create negative space, he has to go through a long painting process that is similar to what a sculptor does. He layers on paint, leaving out the spots that he doesn't want covered. This is a lengthy process because each layer needs to be done individually. He takes a lot of care in each step, and that is why his end result is absolutely incredible. These examples of sculpture street art demonstrate there any many different forms of art that can be translated into beautiful pieces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Negative Space Art:** Exploring the use of negative space in art to create depth and complexity. - **Sculpture Street Art:** Innovative approach to street art that combines elements of painting and sculpture. - **Artistic Translation:** Exploring the translation of various art forms into stunning visual pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Opportunity to redefine traditional art forms and create new artistic expressions. - **Street Art and Graffiti:** Disruptive innovation potential in evolving street art practices and techniques. - **Creative Tourism:** Creating unique art experiences and attracting art enthusiasts to interactive installations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md) - [Geometric Wooden Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aleph-geddis.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Spiky Inflatable Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-sculptures1.md) - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Sculptural Public Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-public-seating.md) - [Collaborative Sculptural Art Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neojomon-biomorphic-fantme.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md)
