# Twisting Tentacle Shower Heads Sculpture by Vado Wraps Up Versatility and Style in One By Meghan Young | Published 2009-10-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-by-vado References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/003873.html) & [vado-uk](http://www.vado-uk.com/pressrelease.php?task=view&id=40) Even though I’m not exactly sure whether I would trust it to not entangle me in its alienesque tentacles, Sculpture by VADO is definitely a unique take on the traditional shower head. Getting over my initial cringe reaction, it’s hard to deny the [artistic and chic look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faro-mixer). More importantly, however, Sculpture by VADO is functional as well. The flexible tentacles can be manipulated for a customized shower experience, and a fun one at that. Commercial Director Sarah Williams reveals, “Sculpture reflects everything that is good about working with designers who continually challenge themselves and think outside the box.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Flexible Shower Heads:** Designing shower heads with moveable and customizable parts can offer consumers a more personalized and enjoyable shower experience. - **Artistic Bathroom Fixtures:** Creating aesthetically-pleasing and unique bathroom fixtures can serve as a statement piece and enhance the overall bathroom design. - **Functionality-driven Design:** Integrating useful features into stylish designs can cater to consumers looking for both practicality and aesthetics. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Manufacturers in the home decor industry can consider introducing more visually-appealing and customizable bathroom fixtures. - **Plumbing:** Innovative plumbing companies can explore creating shower heads with moveable parts and alternative designs to stand out in the market. - **Luxury Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts with a focus on high-end and unique amenities can incorporate flexible and artistic shower heads to differentiate from competitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Sleek Self-Pleasure Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/womanizer-wave.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Modern Square-Shaped Showerhead Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerhead-designs.md) - [Sea-Inspired Mini Sculpture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-sculptures.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md)
