Designed for the lighting company 'Axo Light,' the lamps come in the form of glass domes that are suspended from the ceiling with wires that are both straight and asymmetrical. They come in frames that are either gold or gray which cause variations in the type of lighting that the lamps offer. Inside the lamps are [sculptural landscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upglas-collection) in the form of mountains and each was designed from a single piece of [hand-blown glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/see-earth). These lamps offer a design that not only makes for distinctive decor, but that reveals an excellent feat of design and glass manipulation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sculptural Lighting:** Explore the trend of incorporating sculptural elements into lighting designs for unique and artistic decor. - **Suspended Lamps:** Discover the trend of using suspended lamps to create a visually stunning and versatile lighting solution. - **Glass Manipulation:** Uncover the trend of using hand-blown glass to create intricate and detailed designs in lighting fixtures. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can capitalize on the sculptural lighting trend to offer clients distinctive and visually engaging lighting options. - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can explore the disruptive innovation opportunity of incorporating suspended lamps to create unique and dynamic lighting installations. - **Glass Art:** The glass art industry can leverage the trend of glass manipulation in lighting fixtures to showcase their craftsmanship and create stunning artistic pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organically Shaped Shadow Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp.md) - [Volcanic Stone Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-lava-lamps.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Molten Glass Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-1.md) - [Sculptural Glass Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa.md) - [Physics-Based Artful Light Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-collection-1.md) - [Ultra-Chic Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design.md) - [Artfully Liquid-Like Light Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairn-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Geometry Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp.md)
