The architectural illuminator emits a soft glow of ambient lighting while acting as a vivid focal point when showcased within one's living space. The unique and [sculptural lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design) is inspired by Origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Mimicking intricately folded Origami artworks, EQ3's Sculpt Table Lamp modulates light through its [transparent white frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foreshadow-table-lamp) that is reminiscent of lightweight paper. The home decor piece displays a range of [triangular shape and shadow formations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp) that are a result of its geometrically layered form. The lamp's artful views are achieved through its irregular silhouette that features complex angles and pointy, angled edges. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Origami-inspired Lighting:** Designing lighting fixtures inspired by the art of Origami presents an opportunity for unique and visually appealing products. - **Architectural Silhouette:** Creating lamps with architectural silhouettes allows for the integration of lighting fixtures as artistic focal points in living spaces. - **Geometric Layering:** Exploring geometric layering in lamp design opens up possibilities for creating visually striking patterns and shapes through light modulation. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can take advantage of Origami-inspired lighting to offer customers unique and visually stunning options for their spaces. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** For the lighting manufacturing industry, incorporating architectural silhouettes into lamp designs can generate innovative and marketable products. - **Art and Home Decor:** The art and home decor industry can explore the use of geometric layering in lamp designs to bring visually striking and artistic lighting fixtures to the market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Origami-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-lamp.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Geometry Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Glass Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa.md) - [Architecturally Elegant Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp.md) - [Paper-Made Origami Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-origami-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Flat-Pack Paper Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi.md) - [Traditional Tower-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pagoda-lamp.md)
