The [ultra-modern kiosk](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfordering-kiosk) is imagined with a circular display that adds an organic touch and enables the system to appear less daunting for customers to interact with. The system would utilize facial recognition to identify guests and provide them with access cards via a built-in dispenser, while a rod-shaped LED illuminator provides brightness and visual intrigue. The conceptual screen concierge is also imagined as being a cost-effective solution that could be implemented into [residential rental proprieties like Airbnbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oam-ai) to support customers when attendants aren't present. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [AI](https://www.trendhunter.com/ai) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Circular Screen Kiosks:** Circular screen kiosks with facial recognition technology can be used for expedited customer check-ins and are a potential disruptive innovation opportunity in the hospitality industry. - **Automated Concierge Services:** Automated screen concierge services integrated with AI technology are a potential disruptive innovation opportunity for industries such as hospitality and residential rentals. - **Organic Display Designs:** Organic display designs, such as circular display screens, can provide a more approachable experience for customers and are a potential disruptive innovation opportunity in kiosk design. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Hospitality:** Circular screen kiosks with facial recognition technology can help expedite check-ins and enhance customer experience in the hospitality industry. - **Residential Rentals:** Automated screen concierge services for residential rental properties, such as Airbnbs, can provide customers with an enhanced experience even when attendants aren't present. - **Kiosk Design:** Organic display designs, such as circular display screens, can be a disruptive innovation opportunity in the kiosk design industry by providing a more approachable and visually appealing experience for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Computer-Vision Self-Service Kiosks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-kiosk.md) - [AI-Powered Entryway Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dearbell.md) - [AI-Backed Hotel Complexes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otonomus-hotel.md) - [Smart Home Control Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kocom-the-frame.md) - [Automated Retail Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/venhub.md) - [AI Checkout Kiosks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-checkout-lines.md) - [Connected E-Paper ID Badges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-id-card.md) - [AI-Native Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-hotels.md) - [AI Hotel Concierges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-concierge-system.md)
