At this year's Consumer Electronics Show, artificial intelligence researchers showed off their design for a "scraper robot" that mimics the motions of an expert raclette cheese maker and serves perfect slices of the cheese. For the project, researchers collaborated with professional raclette cheese cutter Eddy Baillifard, who owns a famous cheese dairy in the Valais region in Switzerland, and the robot was able to learn how to perform the scraping-like gesture with precision.
