# Tape Measure Dog Leashes The Conceptual 'Scope' Dog Leash Enhances Canine Control By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2022-06-17 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scope-dog-leash References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2022/06/16/scope-dog-leash-lets-you-have-more-control-over-your-pet/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=scope-dog-leash-lets-you-have-more-control-over-your-pet) The conceptual 'Scope' dog leash has been designed by the [Yifeeling Design Lab](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cknee-brace) as a new take on the classic canine control accessory. The dog lead consists of a handheld unit that holds the [retractable leash](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-collar-1) within that's emblazoned with indications, based on the length. Owners can easily maintain control at a glance by understanding how their dog is walking; a shorter lead could mean the pet is relaxed, while further out could mean they're distracted and not paying attention. The conceptual 'Scope' dog leash is further enhanced with an LED for guiding the way in low-light conditions and can be easily recharged via a built-in USB port. The leash is imagined with a soft green and gray color palette to give it an inherently modern aesthetic. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Smart Pet Leashes:** Developing technologically advanced leashes that offer more control and convenience to pet owners. - **Leash Design Innovation:** Experimenting with unique and unconventional leash designs that improve upon the classic dog leash. - **Intuitive Pet Accessories:** Creating pet accessories that are easy to use and designed to provide a better understanding of your pet's behavior. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Pet Accessories:** Creating new, functional and unique accessories that are designed to improve the relationship between pets and their owners. - **Technology:** Incorporating smart technology into pet accessories that provide valuable data insights to improve pet health and wellbeing. - **Fashion:** Designing fashionable pet accessories that not only look great but also offer practical solutions for pet owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intuitive Intelligent Pet Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-pet-leash.md) - [Cross-Body Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extra-long-leash.md) - [All-in-One Rotating Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-360-dog-leash.md) - [Virtual Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heel-roam-350.md) - [Multifunctional Customizable Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nylon-leash.md) - [Smart Retractable Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocoleash.md) - [Rope-Inspired Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rope-leash.md) - [Ultra-Secure Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mui-magnetic-rope-leash.md) - [Hands-Free Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beltdog.md)
