The canopy works by being installed onto the rear of a mobility scooter and maintaining a design that will stay out of the way until it's required. The canopy can then be folded out and out to offer protection from inclement weather, and is also paired with side panels to further enhance the enclosed nature of the unit. The Scooterpac Canopy is great for use in rain, but also shows promise as a great product for use in the winter months as well. The unit will also provide a bit of sun protection in the top. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Enclosed Mobility Scooter Canopies:** Enclosed canopy designs for mobility scooters are a growing trend for individuals looking for protection from inclement weather or any weather conditions - **All-weather Outdoor Mobility Products:** The popularity of enclosed mobility scooter canopies highlights an increasing trend towards weather-resistant outdoor mobility products - **Modular Mobility Solutions:** Enclosed mobility scooter canopies will be increasingly integrated and made adaptable to a range of mobility vehicles as a modular accessory ### Who This Affects Most - **Mobility and Accessibility:** Enclosed mobility scooter canopies are a notable innovation in the mobility and accessibility space, providing improved personal mobility options to those in need - **Outdoor Recreation:** Enclosed mobility scooter canopies provide an exciting opportunity in the outdoor recreation industry for individuals to continue engaging in outdoor activities regardless of weather conditions - **Vehicle Accessories:** Enclosed mobility scooter canopies offer opportunities for innovation and entrance into the mobility accessories market, targeting individuals interested in improving their outdoor mobility options ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rainproof Wheelchair Shells](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobidry.md) - [Canopy-Covered Cargo Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cargo-scooters.md) - [Adaptive Mobility Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wimo-scooter.md) - [Snazzy Electric Mobility Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-mobility-scooter.md) - [Utilitarian Cargo-Hauling Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scootility.md) - [Flying Umbrella Prototypes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-umbrella.md) - [Wearable Poncho-Style Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onetigris-tentsformer.md) - [Weatherized Folded E-Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dynamic-scooter.md) - [Car Roof Luggage Holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-storage.md)
