[H&M's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hm-2) newest fashion collection for kids is a playful range of sustainable sci-fi kidswear that came out of the bottle2fashion project. H&M worked with [Danone AQUA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evian-and-wimbledon) to take plastic bottle waste from the islands of Indonesia and repurpose these materials into recycled polyester.

The everyday designs for kids include t-shirts, long-sleeve tops, trousers, hoodies and socks that play with ombre, sports-inspired details, marbling, tie-dye and color-blocking. On the sustainable styles, kids will find favorite characters like Grogu (better known as Baby Yoda) from The Mandalorian and the [Star Wars universe](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2).

In 2021, the bottle2fashion project succeeded in collecting and recycling over 7.5 million PET bottles, which is more than double the amount from the previous year.
