The Scent Releasing USB Drive has a little compartment you load with [aromatherapy oils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scentxpresso) of your choice, then simply plug into your flash port. The little gadget emits [time released shots of fragrance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-aromatherapy-diffuser) into the air that are meant to calm your mood and alleviate stress. I think the Scented USB Drive will come in most handy after [fajita night](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pepperoni-pizza-diffuser). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Scented USB Drives:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring alternative sensory experiences in technology. - **Aromatherapy Tech:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating the benefits of aromatherapy into different tech devices for enhanced well-being. - **Multisensory Computing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating immersive computing experiences that engage multiple senses. ### Where This Applies - **Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing innovative features that go beyond traditional functionality in tech products. - **Wellness:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Expanding the use of wellness practices and techniques to different industries and gadgets. - **Gadgets:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing unique and experiential gadgets that appeal to consumer senses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Scented Fashion Collaboration Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asus-x-anna-sui-adol-book-14.md) - [Smart Car Diffusers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olfapure-7300.md) - [Portable Waterless Diffusers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wellbeing-pod-mini.md) - [Mood-Enhancing Aromatherapy Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memoraphy.md) - [Scent-Releasing Gaming Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gamescent.md) - [Multipurpose Scent-Releasing Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nosewise.md) - [Fluidless Scent-Releasing Facemasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-face-mask-1.md) - [Immersive Scent-Based Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aromajoin.md) - [Smell-Oriented Virtual Masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/city-university-of-hong-kong.md)
