It measures out to be 1200 square feet and highlights a [minimal environmental footprint](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cabana) -- it is located in the East Coast forest. The home is entirely constructed from wood with the exception of the foundation which is created for lead-resilient siding. It appears to be floating over the sloped base that it is positioned on top of. The large windows invite a [seamless connection with nature](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haus-am-lagnesberg). Additional details include the concave roof surface that aids the collection of water and light, whilst also helping with ventilation control. The studio states, “Exposing a boulder on the ground, the courtyard or impluvium functions in a number of ways: It establishes a relationship between the indoors, the porch, and the forest; it produces a clearing for contemplation within the clearing of the forest for the house; and, it elevates the process of rain and snow nurturing the forest by framing it, augmenting it by the surface of the roof, and, articulating all spaces around it."
